Have you noticed the many strange changes that are occurring lately to the Earth? According to a new report from Forbes, Earth’s magnetic North Pole has drifted so fast that authorities have had to officially redefine the location of the magnetic North Pole. The report went on to say that the extreme wandering of the North Pole caused increasing concerns over navigation, especially in high latitudes. Earth’s magnetic field is known to have wandered and flipped in the geologic past. In fact, Incredibly after doing research I discovered that according to the Book of Enoch, which was a Jewish book of history, Just before the flood of Noah, Earth actually tilted on its axis or as the text says, it “became inclined.” Consequently, another historical Hebrew book called the book Jasher stated the following: “And on that day (Flood), the Lord caused the whole earth to shake, and the sun darkened, and the foundations of the world rages and the whole earth was moved violently, and the lightning flashed and the thunder roared, and all the fountains in the earth were broken up….”

Then we have a report about Typhoon Wutip that formed and brushed Guam recently which according to the report, made it an oddity in terms of timing and location. The storm blew up into a Category 5 monster and became the first Category 5 storm of any kind—typhoon, cyclone, or hurricane—ever recorded in the Northern Hemisphere in February.  And then we have the recent story of the dead Humpback Whale that mysteriously turned up in the Amazon rainforest!  According to reports, The 36 feet long whale carcass was discovered well outside of its natural habitat, and nobody has any idea how it got there. Oly speculations and theories.  The animal weighed 10 tonnes and was found in a woodland area of Brazil that about 50 feet from the sea. Quite impossible for a whale to flop up the bank that far. The humpback was discovered last Friday on the island of Marajo, at the mouth of the Amazon river. It was found at a place called Araruna Beach in the undergrowth. To this day no official explanation has been given of how this could have occurred.

The next bizarre story brings us to the West Coast of the United States, Where a rare fish that has never been seen in Northern Hemisphere washed up in Santa Barbara. According to a local affiliate out of California, The mola tecta, or hoodwinker sunfish, has never been seen before in the Northern Hemisphere, let alone Southern California. It wasn’t that long ago that the fish was discovered to exist at all. This species of sunfish, recently found on a New Zealand beach, was the first to be discovered in the last 125 years. “This is certainly the most remarkable organism I have seen wash up on the beach in my four years at the reserve,” said Jessica Nielsen, a conservation specialist at Coal Oil Point. Once again, no clear explanation can be given of why this has happened.

Then we had this report out of California as well. For the first time since forecasters began recording data — at least 132 years — the mercury did not reach 70 degrees in downtown Los Angeles for the entire month of February. The average high for the month was 61 degrees, significantly lower than the historical average of 68 for February. That makes it the eighth-coldest February on record, said Ryan Kittell, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Oxnard. Then there was the recent chilling report regarding our planet’s insects. According to a recent report from The Guardian, that stated the world’s insects are hurtling down the path to extinction, threatening a “catastrophic collapse of nature’s ecosystems”, according to the first global scientific review. More than 40% of insect species are declining and a third are endangered, the analysis found. The rate of extinction is eight times faster than that of mammals, birds, and reptiles. The total mass of insects is falling by a precipitous 2.5% a year, according to the best data available, suggesting they could vanish within a century. The planet is at the start of a sixth mass extinction in its history!

Remember the words of Romans 8 that state that “For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.”. I believe we are going to see even stranger, bizarre and record-breaking events take place as we get closer to the return of the Lord. The Word of God tells us that we will see an increase of earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis and more natural disasters in the future and that the very sight of many of these things will cause “men’s hearts to fail them”. Don’t be alarmed when we see these things but be mindful of what our Lord said .. Luke 21:28 –  Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
